Our Services

Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the hardest decisions a you can face. Our goal at Calm Goodbyes - Your Mobile Vet is to guide you through the euthanasia process with clarity, care, and respect, helping make the experience as peaceful and comfortable as possible.

We aim for our in-home pet euthanasia service to be calm, gentle, and unhurried, allowing your beloved companion to pass peacefully in the comfort of home, surrounded by familiar sights, smells, and loved ones.

We will guide you through the process at a pace that feels right for you and your pet, helping to reduce stress and create a dignified, loving farewell. You are invited to choose a comfortable spot and surround your pet with their favorite blankets, toys, or other cherished items.

We partner with Abbey Glen Pet Memorial, in West Chester, PA, to provide respectful aftercare for your pet. If you choose cremation services, we will carefully transport your pet to Abbey Glen following your appointment, ensuring they are handled with dignity every step of the way.

Two cremation options are available:

Individual Cremation - Your pet is cremated privately, and their ashes are returned to you.

Communal Cremation - Your pet is cremated together with other beloved pets. In this option, ashes are not returned.

The cost of aftercare services varies depending on the size of your pet. We are happy to discuss these options with you and help you choose what feels most meaningful for your family.

Clay PawPrint - If you would like a memorial clay paw print made of your pet's paw Abbey Glen offers make one for you for an additional cost.

In-home Pet Euthanasia

Notification of Arrival: You will receive a phone call or text 20-30 minutes before the appointment to let you know when you can expect us.

Conversation & Preparation: We begin with a conversation to answer your questions and help you feel prepared. During this time, we also complete any necessary forms and gently handle payment, so you can focus fully on your pet.

Gentle Sedation & Comfort: A calming sedative is given to help your pet relax and rest peacefully. This allows you to spend quiet, meaningful time together, comforting your companion and saying your goodbyes. If you wish, memorial items—such as a pawprint or a lock of fur—can be created during this time.

Peaceful Passing: When your pet is calm and at ease, a final, gentle medication is administered, allowing them to pass quietly and comfortably while you remain by their side. Some people don't want to be present during the final step, and that is perfectly fine and understandable.

Time for Farewells: Afterward, you may stay with your pet as long as you need.

Transport to Aftercare: If you choose to cremate your pet, we will transport him or her to the crematorium afterwards.
